It’s subscriptions Jim, but not as we know it…10 Apr 2008 With the subscriptions business changing rapidly, the Customer Direct seminar at the Magazines and Business Media conference on 7 May will take a closer look at some of the key themes and changes in the industry. Highlights from the Customer Direct marketing track include a panel session to discuss and debate how the business is changing, looking at how subscription teams are getting smarter with their data and using integrated multi-channel marketing to retain existing subscribers and attract new ones. This will be followed by two publishers presenting case studies picking up on the themes discussed in the panel session. They will will consider the challenges of the future and lay out their plans on how to tackle them. The complete findings of the Customer Direct Marketing Group’s most ambitious research project to date ‘Beyond the Subscription: tracking the customer journey’ will also be presented in a plenary session at the conference on 7 May, giving subscriptions and direct marketing professionals plenty of ideas on how to tackle the transforming market. The conference takes place at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane.
